"Because healing starts with yourself."
Letting go is hard, but holding on to what hurts can be even harder. Whether it’s a memory, a mistake, or someone you thought would always be there, learning to let go can be the most powerful thing you do for yourself. Here’s what I’ve learned about moving on, and how I remind myself daily that peace is something I get to choose.
Tip 1: Stop Overthinking
Letting go is different for everyone. Some people can move on quickly. Others take time. I’m the kind who needs months, even years. I’ve learned the hard way that holding on hurts. The unknown of what comes next can be scary, but overthinking keeps us stuck. Letting go opens the door to healing.
Tip 2: Stop Focusing on the Past
We get lost in the “should haves” and “could haves.” We hold onto moments that have long passed and let them rob us of joy in the present. But the past doesn’t serve us anymore it’s the present that holds peace, presence, and possibility. Let go of what was so you can fully experience what is.
Tip 3: Start Choosing You
Letting go means choosing yourself over what no longer serves you. That’s what inspired us to create the Let Them Box a mindful self-care gift designed to support you through transitions and emotional growth. It’s a gentle reminder that your peace matters. It’s okay to let go. It’s okay to move on.
